Erasmus+ Research Project – KA210

The INC Research Department initiated a research project aimed at contributing to the local community by supporting the sustainability and development of minority youth. The project proposal was submitted for funding under the Erasmus+ programme and is being implemented in collaboration with European partners, including non-governmental organizations and other research institutions from Romania and Serbia.

Project Title: Youth as Employable and Inclusive Citizens (YEIC)

Scope of the Project

The YEIC project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the employability and social inclusion of at-risk and minority youth. Central to its objectives is the systematic identification and analysis of structural barriers—such as discrimination, limited access to opportunities, and social exclusion—that impede the labour market integration of these populations. Furthermore, YEIC actively collaborates with employers and key stakeholders to advocate for equitable recruitment strategies, underscoring the organizational benefits of diversity and inclusion. The project also promotes a culture of lifelong learning by encouraging continuous skills enhancement as a pathway to sustained employability.
